How it works

  1. Download the forms

    Complete the Business Registration Application Form and the Bizloft Authorization Form, then print and sign them.

  2. Upload four documents

    The two signed forms, your National ID card or passport, and your TIN certificate.

  3. Sign up and pay

    After you submit, we take you to our mailbox portal to sign up for the package and pay by card.

  4. We register and apply

    We file your registration with DCRA, apply to GRA and NIS for your compliance certificates, and keep you updated until each is issued.

    DCRA’s application under the Business Names (Registration) Act. Fill it in on your computer, then print it and sign. The principal place of business is fixed as Lot 43 Croal Street, Stabroek, Georgetown.

    Your letter of authorisation, allowing The Business Loft to deal with DCRA, GRA and NIS on your behalf for these applications only. Type in your name, ID number and the date, then print and sign it.

GYD 30,000 (US$150) one-off for business-name registration and your GRA and NIS compliance certificate applications. Then GYD 6,000 (US$30) a month for Mailbox Only.

What happens next. After you submit, you’ll be taken to our mailbox portal to create your account and sign up for the Business Registration package. That’s where you pay, and it’s what assigns your business its address at Lot 43 Croal Street, Stabroek, so please complete the sign-up in the same visit.

Company incorporation

Company incorporation form.

Company incorporation is offered through our partnership with an external attorney-at-law, who prepares your articles of incorporation and notices of directors and registered office and files them with DCRA. The form takes up to five people as shareholders, directors and company secretary.

Incorporation fee: GYD 275,000 (US$1,375)

One-off, paid in cash at our office at Lot 43 Croal Street, Stabroek. Your registered office comes with our Virtual Office plan, signed up for online after you submit.

Including the ending you want, e.g. “Croal Street Traders Inc.” or “… Limited”.

Provided by The Business Loft. Your company is assigned a unit number here once you’ve submitted this form and signed up for our Virtual Office plan.

Standard by-laws. Your company will be incorporated using standard by-laws. If you need custom by-laws or special share rights, tell us before you submit and we’ll quote separately.

Enter everyone who will own shares or hold office. Tick a box to add parties 2 to 5. Shares must add up to 100%, at least one person must be a Director, and only one person can be Company Secretary.

Then visit our office to pay the GYD 275,000 incorporation fee in cash, and our partner attorney-at-law prepares and files your documents.
